Geikie’s style of writing is precise, clear, and fun to read and full of many references to creation, behavior, history, lore, and sayings in different cultures and languages. His pace is somewhat rapid, but not so rapid it is a chore to follow. The advice of the book was not assembled hastily, but carefully organized and researched, before becoming verbalized. The book stands as a masterpiece that cannot be replaced.
