Kitto's Popular Encyclopedia
- Was Adam a senseless animal like caveman?
- Are we supposed to learn to save things from Ants? See the Ants Article
- Was Eliezer a servant or a relative to Abraham?
- Is a flagon of wine an alcoholic drink or something good?
- Did Moses' dad really marry his aunt, and was this forbidden in the law Moses later recorded? See Jocebed.
There is simply a lot of great and interesting information in this treasure that is not to be found elsewhere today!
The whole book has now been finished. It has been an ongoing project for several years, and it is so good to see it finished. The English has been updated, the Bible references have been checked and many corrected. The internal links have been set up. The 350 woodcuts have been reworked and indexed. Then we added almost 400 modern maps! The maps have thumbnail size pictures, that when clicked open up a new window, where the map section can be seen in full size.
As far as progress now, we are moving along! This is by far the most difficult book on the shelf. Two Babylons is the next tough project, and it has been moving along as well.
