Aitken's Revealer Revealed online!
July 12th, 2010
Hay Aitken was a man that caught people's attention and held it even when explaining difficult Biblical topics. He was completely sincere and forthright about spiritual living. This book cannot be outdone in handling the topic of learning about Christ as He reveals God to us and thus how we are to live and conduct ourselves. It is important that God's people read this book to learn how to walk in the image of God.

Meyer's Back to Bethel is online!
December 11th, 2009
Meyer's Back to Bethel book is so important for Christians to read, we decided to move this book to the front of the list of "to do's." Now it is done and available to anyone that wants to read it with an internet account!
If you have not read this book, please do so as part of your devotional time. It is worth it! So often Christians start out with great intentions, but soon become so distracted and removed from their intentions, that it takes a real rough time to get them to come back to their starting place and head the right direction with their lives. That is what it means to go "Back to Bethel!" This book offers gentle advice to those who are ready to return to the God that bought them!

Hodgkin's Christ in All the Scriptures now Online!
November 27th, 2009Link: http://www.pleasantplaces.biz/books/hodgkin_christ/0000.php

This is a real treature! Miss Hodgkin really did a classic job going through the Bible book by book showing where it teaches about Christ and what we can learn about Him. This is a book that should be read more than once so the material is ever ready for us to use in our daily lives.
Now the book is available for those with internet connections to read! No more excuses!
P.S. Thanks so very much for noticing the error of calling A.M. Hodgkin a Mrs. by Peter Reynolds. He has done some thorough research on her identity and has a wonderful bookselling website. Be sure to visit www.peterreynoldsbooks.com.
A.T. Pierson's Biography
November 24th, 2009Link: http://www.pleasantplaces.org/titles/pierson_pierson.php
This book is a real valuable book to read! It was donated by David Lopez for us to digitize, and finally it is done! It is planned to become available in Cross format, once the rest of the books on the shelf are completed. At this point, this book puts the shelf at half of the books being done, and 38.8% of the total pages.
This book also got done at a time when my computer had to have the operating system installed from scratch, and all the programs that it runs installed, one by one. There is still a pile of programs to go, before the computer will be running in full capability, but at least the language servers and more complicated stuff is working well. But who reads these blogs anyway!
The book tells the process of how A.T. Pierson grew up spiritually, and how industrious he was as a boy, and how that spirit of diligence drove him all his life, even when his body was all but destroyed. It might glamorize the man a bit, but then again, it points out that he did not glamorize himself at all! If he felt strongly about something, he went all out to do it. In other words, he was a person of conviction, and we sure need more of that today.
The book is also online, so that anyone that has internet access can read it. I just hope that some good people will take advantage of the work, and hopefully become customers of all our labors these several years!
