Introduction
Several books have been written upon the Keswick Convention and its message, but this volume is distinctive from them all in that it presents the sequence of teaching given at Keswick as contained in outstanding addresses delivered from the Convention platform throughout its history. Many of these are taken from the earlier years, when the teaching of Keswick came as a newly rediscovered revelation from God, to a generation hungering and thirsting for holiness of life and power in Christian service. The speakers were men whose lives had been transformed by this message they now so gladly and convincingly proclaimed. Other addresses represent every era throughout the Convention’s eight decades, right to our own day. These reveal the consistency of the message delivered, and that Keswick remains unswervingly true to its original vision and commission. Here we have indeed “Keswick’s authentic voice.”
