D.L. Moody    

Dwight Lyman Moody was a mover of men and mountains of difficulty. Used of God to inspire and motivate people to make full use of their ministry, Moody stands as a legend in American History. Due to his zeal, not only were many people saved at his evangelistic crusades, but the Moody Bible Institute was started. He weathered the Chicago fire, where he lost everything and had to start his hard work over again to gather funds and rebuild.

Born Feb. 5, 1837, Died Dec. 22, 1899.
